Excellent Stay with Minor Hiccup

The breakfast at Notch 8 was very good. The perfect service and food made it worth my while. The room was super clean upon my arrival. I find the historic details and modern amenities, such as the bathroom, blend seamlessly. I also find the bed slept well.
I noticed the parking was the worst. A ticket was issued for paying half an hour late after I parked my car. I could not pay due to a network issue, and my dispute was not honored. The hotel does not take responsibility.

The concierge service was helpful. Staff answered questions, and provided information about the city. This made planning my activities efficient. The personnel ensured all needs were promptly addressed.

The hotel is in the center of the downtown area. This allows for convenient access to shops, restaurants, and public transportation. Walking to the wharf area and Gastown is a short distance. I enjoyed exploring the surrounding area.

the hotel had designer shops like gucci and dior! i was lucky to stay on the 14th floor! it gave me access to the gold floor lounge, with breakfast and evening appetizers! the personalized concierge service helped me print tickets and offered recommendations.
the tv was huge but super slow to change channels! it would take a second to buffer.

The room was clean. And we didn't hear city noises. the location was perfect for our trip goals. Such as shopping and the waterfront. the bed was great.
The room was dated and dull. And it overlooked a gravel roof. the shower, sink plug, and toilet roll holder were broken! long dark hair was on the shower wall.

I was disappointed with several aspects. i reserved a room with three beds, but it turned out to be much smaller than expected. There was only one tiny bathroom. there was no place to put our bathroom supplies. I had to keep them in the bedroom. i expected better for the price.

I appreciated the short walk to Robson Street. The hotel includes designer shops, among them Gucci and Dior. I also enjoyed the spa, it located on the lower level of the hotel.
The TV buffered sometimes when changing channels.

The staff assists with printing boarding passes. They also provide maps of the area. The staff give suggestions for things to do and good places for dining.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city. Canada Place is only a short walk away. The building stands across the street from the Art Gallery.

The room features fluffy pillows. There is a warm comforter available. I have find the room equipped with all the amenities one expects in first class hotels.

Staff members were helpful. I emailed a staff member on the 9th floor for luggage tags. She printed them for me. Her determination to assist was appreciated.
